All of these white women posting they cofounded AIR to increase Diverse hiring. It’s a beautiful idea. How come it seems so self-serving? Wouldn’t it be more genuine if they didn’t announce it with ‘we did this!’ cheers for themselves, but just quietly made a difference! Better to see pics of 20 diverse hires it leads to than 20 white people literally congratulating each other on LinkedIn. i’m sure the hearts are in the right place but the roll out smells funny.

I’m an Accounting Junior. I just completed a big 4 internship and got a full time offer for when I graduate. I have another upcoming internship that I actually want to accept a full time for. I don’t want to be in a position where I decline the current offer and also don’t end up with an offer from my upcoming internship. Any advice?

I’m job searching right now and applied for a job I was a little overqualified for just to shoot my shot and get my foot in the door with a great brand. The hiring mgr took the time to email me to tell me I was overqualified and offered to help me get connected to his network. He’s been so kind and helpful and I’m kind of in shock at his generosity. Even if an offer doesn’t come from it, is it weird if I send him a Starbucks gift card or something as a thank you? What’s appropriate?

I am from a tier 1 college and yet able to land only a couple of interviews and they keep me on stand by(2 companies so far). They are prefering folks with experience even for APM positions.
