How do you balance work and fun?
Hey sharks
I got offer on Citiustech Healthcare Technologies
May I know how WLB in this company, I see in glassdoor and ambitions contains positive and negative. Is it worth to join? Is it useful for me to enhance my career for long run? How about the retention pay? If we leave the company we need to pay entire retention pay?I have other wipro and CTS, which company is better to join?

I’d go to A. The big 4 life isn’t a long term viable option.
Details pls. I thought the culture at A always drive people away & equal shorter tenure
Big 4. Do it 3 years and get to Director/SM then exit as a VP to tech
400k TC is amazing
Do B4. Avoid this hellish company at all costs. Even if WLB is okay you will constantly be under the threat of being marked as unregretted attrition and fired. Long term amazonians are generally self interested and casually cruel people and you will be reminded constantly that even if your manager cares about you, no one else (nor the company) does.
This is leaked data, and obviously there are no similar leaks for Google, Microsoft, etc online. Additionally, you are literally comparing your "isolated" experience at Amazon to the programmatic way the entire company is structured to create a stack ranked system that constantly pushes people to "raise the bar" or leave. If you refuse to see the negative cycle this system creates then you are probably part of the problem.

Challenging work is overrated, L6 is going to be a much better option considering WLB and impact that you will be able to make. My .02.
Which Big4? If it’s PwC then I’d suggest taking the Amazon job
This is entirely practice dependent. Big 4 culture is pretty similar at a macro level but can vary significantly based on your team.

If you're super sick of consulting, and you're set on tech (I assume you have an s&o type role) pick A. However, if you can wait a year or two for the economy to recover without breaking down in consulting, maybe wait for a better exit.
And depending on exact team, I wouldn't classify Amazon as having better wlb than big 4.
Amazon has better wlb? Lol
Exactly he is getting paid to say this!

What position at Amazon? I left Amazon L6 to join parthenon and do not regret it 1 bit but wasn’t corporate.
From a former L6 Amazonian - it’s definitely not vest and rest, nor is the work simple (unless you’re on the Retail side and they’re frozen atm). For the most part, WLB will be about the same. Big 4 will have more structure, Amazon will be in a constant state of churn (by design - it’s always Day 1 😄).
Amazon will let you dive much deeper into projects and initiatives (much deeper than in consulting).
Big 4 will give you the presentation and polish skills.
Both seem equally viable.
If you think presentation and polish is useless you're either very early in your career or haven't been in many conversations with leadership.
