Any friends here in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK?

I been thinking about buying a 3bed and 3bath house or a condo. I haven’t had much luck in finding one so I started thinking about 4 bed and 3bath. I am single and I don’t have any plans to marry or have a partner staying with me. Is there anyone who’s single living in a 3 or 4 bed house by yourself ? Please share your experiences from all aspects. The only thing that makes me think weird is, it’s too much space for one person ☹️

Anyone else dealing with emotional trauma that is bubbling back up thanks to all the free time we have to think about shit endlessly? Or the fact that frustrating family brings up stuff, but since they are now 80% of your human interaction, it's a lot more overwhelming? How are you dealing with it?

I am generally uncomfortable when I’m around my mother-in-law’s husband.

While he is overall a decent guy, his anger issues, yelling at his wife for the slightest issue, and insulting nature makes me uncomfortable and triggers my own anger due to his blatant disrespect for just about everyone around him.

My mother-in-law says he’s worked on things, but it’s been 10 years of this and I’m not sure I want such behavior around my wife and our kids since we’re trying to conceive soon (cont).

Any dads out here? Wife is 20 weeks pregnant with our first and want to connect and know from fellow dads on how are they coping. How are you helping your partner? Feel I am not doing enough. Except for getting ready with the finances.

Why do some muslim men think that career women in their 30s become desperate and will significantly lower their standards? Someone with 3 kids that’s been divorced twice and isn’t even practicing just told my friend he’ll do her the favor of giving her children. The arrogance is mind boggling

Denver culture (and suburb areas): interested to know how easy is it to make friends here. Both husband and I are late-30s, early 40s with a kid going into middle school. How can you deal with your desi parents, trying to interfere in your life sitting in India. They call my friends on Whattsapp and discuss things with them and decide what I should do. They try to deliver the messages indirectly rather than talking straight to me.

I’ve hit a plateau on the keto diet (no weight loss in 3 months). So in addition to walking 5 miles a day (been doing this since month 2), on Sunday I started a Beachbody HIIT workout with weights (21 day fix real time).
