JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling haven’t replied to my emails on what comes next and haven’t scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase

I went the opposite way- from in-house to agency. Working in-house is difficult because there's isn't a SOW keeping you "safe". Any ask at any time is on the table, particularly if it comes from the office of the CEO. Setting reasonable expectations about what's possible in what timeframe is incredibly important. The pro is that if you have reasonable executive leadership in the organization, it can be VERY cushy. It all depends on the organization but lean heavily into employee reviews.
Biggest pro about going in-house: Everything stops being about client retainment and you actually get to do the work that matters.
Biggest con: No one knows what a creative brief is or why you keep asking so many questions. If you wind up in an old-school company where people are information hoarders, it makes your job tough. I still prefer it over agency life, but I'm very grateful to have an agency background.
