What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

If you want your kids to grow up to be socially awkward go for it.
K2 shield your kids from the real world so you could give them a biased view from your perspective? Sounds like a great idea.
I know people who were homeschooled and turned out to be incredible and others who grew up to be very strange. I hope to homeschool my kids cuz public education just seems like a mess but you have to be very deliberate and intentional with what you do.
I can't imagine 2 hours a day is going to get them the stimulation they need to grow and thrive and learn the social skills they need.
Sorry but I'll have to veto.
Most home schooled kids end up on their phones or playing video games half the day because teaching is actually exhausting. I’m not against home schooling and think it’s very good when done well but very often it’s not.
How would that work? Work during the day and teach at night?
Consider looking into micro-schooling or home schooling pods. There are networks in a lot of different places, so there could be one near you.
I have zero concept as to how you could have a successful public accounting career while homeschooling your kids AND watching them the rest of the day. You can maybe weasel around and be a middle performing senior associate your whole life.
So many ignorant comments here. There are socially awkward kids that go to regular public schools, and homeschooled kids who are the most outgoing in college. I knew quite a few in college, and they were different in social or mental intelligence from their public or private school peers. Also, OP, there are homeschooling cohorts that communities have so that homeschooled kids can meet up with others and even play sports. Wrong sub for this question because they don’t know. Many don’t even have kids. They are in their 20s and hate their lives at their firm.
I know you are but what am I…
Why are you considering home schooling? (Not a single parent but was homeschooled as a child).
What firm
Nice! What region ? It really depends region to region
I’m not exactly a single parent, still going strong after 25 yrs of marriage, but I homeschooled my daughter who is now 23 from 4th grade until she went to a community college while holding down a job.
I homeschooled but not single. I quit firm for years and homeschooled 2 kids then I came back and later decided to homeschool 1 more kid and went to 50%. So I’ve never done it while working full time. The pod thing would probably work and are they forcing you into the office?Ps my kids did actually end up at a private high school but are both valedictorian so I didn’t mess them up too badly ;)
Some firms, like Deloitte, allow parents to work on a reduced schedule/salary. Like 3 days a week for the equivalent salary. Look it up.
