Hi folks, I have 6.5yrs of experience in Java, Springboot, Microservices. Does anyone have any idea about Optum Global Solutions, Hyderabad. I was told that the Project which I will be assigned to is an IVR application responsible for middleware services and the shift will be from 2 pm-12 am. Any idea which project is it going to be and how is the work going to be? Do they expect us to extend beyond 12 am on a regular basis?

Is BRK-B a buy right now?
Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

Leave while you’re young/before you get trapped with the high salary but horrible w/l balance. Tap into your network/friends for referrals.
Following because I'm contemplating the same thing. Seems like it would take a well placed, lucky one-off gig to start the pivot, but it's hard to position for that.
Yeah - I think my best bet is what PM 1 said above you. I need to keep talking to my network to see if there are any opportunities there... I find that I always hit a wall when I go on job boards lol
What started for me as a freelance gig, knowing NOTHING, just to get me out of being unemployed after the 2008 crash has turned into 14+ years of a PM career in pharma advertising. If there’s a way out of this trap, I’d love to know, but I think I’m just doomed.
have you been able to break out?
Do you have your PMP? This significantly boosted my earning potential and is the PM standard outside of agency space. I'm still getting headhunted outside of my current role/industry. Take some time and look into it on YouTube and Reddit.
If you do decide to go for it, I recommend going with an online course. The instructors are masters at getting you through the entire process systematically. Just find one with good reviews. It takes about 6 - 12 months depending on how hard you grind.
Just sent you a PM of the school I went with.

That’s how I got in as well via freelance. I did one year & after having two toxic bosses within 3 years. I used the same strategy to get out. Via freelance. Pre pandemic was so much easier. Luckily my last three opportunities have been freelance remote. All client side & 9-5. I agree get out before the money keeps you. I was mid-level when I got out. Once I went perm & got another job offer. They matched it. Including my bonuses. I made the salary I was led away from and more. Peace is priceless. For some reason the salary will show back up or you have time to devote to side hustles. Because, you’re not drained.
