I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

This is my opinion, and others might think differently, but here goes. Unless you start your own business where you have complete control on what the company does, the chances of you finding a dream job are slim to none. It’s a job, it’s not supposed to be sunshine and rainbows. If it were, you wouldn’t be getting paid. That said, you shouldn’t stick in a profession you absolutely hate. You should find something that you like doing, something that when you wake up in the morning you don’t hate yourself for logging into your laptop or going to work etc. You should find a job that you like (not necessarily love) which allows you meet you financial obligations, and allows you to have time to pursue your true passions, time with loved ones, etc. I wish you luck. I was in a similar boat a few months ago. I know it can suck but if you’re proactive you can get out of this slump.
I agree with this. Take time off after busy season to recharge as well.

I worked with someone in PA who loved working on cars. That’s literally all he would talk about. We kept telling him to go be a mechanic, and he eventually did.
Unfortunately, while he was much happier at his mechanic job, it couldn’t support him well enough financially. He ended up back in accounting in an industry role.
Now, with that said, I’m sure he probably still spends a lot of his free time working on cars because it’s a hobby for him and he loves doing it. I think the best spot to be in with a career is to work in something you at least like (or don’t completely dread) that gives you enough financial support, flexibility, and free time to spend on the things you enjoy doing most because, let’s be real, most people that work in accounting wouldn’t call it a hobby no matter what their role is.
It’s actually not the work. Most accountants start at the way. It’s the unrelentless pressure that comes with it. That being said #UnionizeBig4
There’s a reason everyone gets promoted to “management” so quickly. Hard to unionize when your pool of employees averages 2 years before leaving.
Unionizing would transform the profession, from better working conditions, better salaries and a voice in the accounting profession.
I actually believe it’s the opposite - ie there are not enough accounting graduates to do the work so that is Big4 have back offices in Argentina, India etc. So there is a big argument to unionize. My information came from the partner in charge of tax at B4 when she came to visit our office.
We should unionize...
Everyday. Trying to find something I won’t hate as much as accounting.
I hated my initial function in accounting. I made a major transition after 2 years and enjoy work a lot more.
Find your why. I don’t like reviewing work papers and didn’t even like testing. What I do enjoy is helping people. So helping clients figure solutions, helping staff develop their career, either internally or if they find their dream job. I can fulfill my why while making a very good living.
