Here’s a list of benefits they took away:
- 401K match is now not guaranteed and is “up to 5%” but can be lower or nothing at all
- Unlimited PTO is now cut to only 10 PTO days and 5 sick days
- Parental leave slashed in half from 20 weeks to 10 weeks
- Significantly more expensive health plan options
- Holiday days off are cut in half
- Remote working policy is now 3 days in office and will eventually move to 5 days
- Severance cut in half from 2 weeks for every year to 1 week

Like what?
It was one of the first things I reached out to old coworkers (at Omnicom) about when the benefits were announced.
Their response? “Yeah, it’s not great.”
I guess it’s somewhat comforting knowing they went through the same shock. Discomforting knowing there’s probably little anyone can do to counteract.
What was reduced?
401K as well
Nope.

I'm curious why you'd think they wouldn't?
Seems bad for morale at an important moment
