Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

The melatonin gummies may be just a band aid. Your issue may be stress related or circumstances/ worry that don’t allow your brain to fully rest. I usually only have those kinds of problems when I have something on my mind or a life issue. If that’s the case, you probably need to work that angle out. Depending on your situation you might need to find some solid books for what you’re going through , counseling, etc that can help you past that. (I may be way off on my leap of faith here). For the record I think 10 mg and no more than 2 doses in 8 hours is what’s recommended.
When I became depressed earlier this year my sleep went to shit- I could fall asleep ok but would wake up in the middle of the night or around 4am unable to go back to sleep. When I went on antidepressants it got so much better!
Try Vitamin D for a week and see if it, very possible you have shortage (especially given covid and staying indoors). I found myself in similar position of sleeping only a couple hours a week/stressing all night and that fixed me right up in a couple days.
You can get pills at any drugstore. I get them from Costco. “Vitamin D3, 1000 IU” is technically what the bottle says.
There’s also a 400IU bottle as well which is probably too low a dose so don’t grab that one.
1 a day should be fine! (that’s what the pharmacist said).
Try the CALM magesium drink mix-
Works so well.
Getting into consulting can do this though. That said, my years in consulting I slept like a baby. But that’s cause I only slept 5 hours a night and was always tired
Try CBD instead! I started suffering from waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to fall back asleep and CBD has really helped me
Tincture. Try Feals or Highline Wellness
Melatonin helps you fall asleep, not stay asleep.
To this point, I’d say the heart of the issue is staying asleep for longer periods of time, which melatonin won’t solve for. I’ve seen a sleep doctor in the past, and without necessarily asking for a prescription sleeping pill, you can make small changes to daily routine like trying to sleep at a regular time (+/- 1 hour), not eating or drinking alcohol too close to bed time, not having electronic gadgets near bed, and using a white noise machine. I know the consulting lifestyle is sometimes not conducive to getting proper sleep, so obviously do what you can to balance. If you do decide that you need actual meds, you can talk to your doctor about lower doses of a newer drug called Dayvigo over something like Ambien.
Have you tried Special K? Does wonders for me
I assume you’re not referring to the cereal?
Exercise, drink more water, eat differently, use headspace, check your breathing (sleep apnea?)
I didn’t sleep well (same pattern as you) for years until a nurse practitioner suggested melatonin. It took about 6 weeks at a 6mg dose, but I began sleeping well and waking refreshed.
I’m having the same issue right now, switched back to 6mg and might move to 10mg, but from this post will also try additional magnesium (I’ve been craving spinach lately so might be depleted) and vitamin D.
I’ve also tried a Calcium/Magnesium blend as recommended by my GYN but that didn’t help me. CBD or THC for stress-induced sleep problems for falling asleep may help.
Please get a weighted blanket. You won’t need any chemical for a better sleep. Thank me later. It has been a life changer for me and I have more energy every day.

I take a 3mg melatonin tablet before bed every night. I have terrible tinnitus and the melatonin helps me ignore it. Gummies usually have sugar. Blech.
I get a bottle of 10mg cherry flavored, quick dissolving tablets from Amazon that I take each night.
3mg, rare usage. Exercise
