Anyone here take the SHRM? Im looking to gain more certificates and knowledge to further my career within HR/Recruiting and become more of a subject matter expert.

What are other ways to get out of law aside from legal recruiting? I have insurance defense (MVA and first party property) and labor and employment law experience. Do not want to work for an insurance company. Not sure what my other options would be.

When did you know you were ready for a senior leadership or an executive role?

I joined 6 months ago as a L5 manager. I like my team but don't enjoy the work. I also feel I was down levelled at the time of joining. Should I wait 6 months and move internally? How easy is internal mobility especially if I were to target a L6 role? Would applying outside be wise ?

Is it common for a copywriter to transition into account/project management within digital marketing?

How common are credit checks for roles in accounting or finance positions? Will high utilization on credit card balances and low credit score be a deal breaker? In this field, when choosing a masters degree program is it more beneficial to get a degree in Human Resources to further my knowledge in HR (my undergraduate degree is in Economics) , an MBA, or Data Science Degree due to the fact that HR is becoming more data driven as well as get a PHR / SHRM-CP certification?

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"
