Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

I have my black belt. Why do you want the cert? Depending on industry, it can be a help with your career. The frameworks you learn help understand how to break down process but they can be too rigid for faster moving industries like tech.
PROSCI is a change management methodology which also offers a certification. There are some others out there, too. Communicating expectations for change accountability and being able to measure it is usually where people fall down.

I went with ASQ as everything I heard gave them the strongest brand reputation.
Would something like Scrum Master/agile be a better fit potentially?
How so?
If you want to dip your toes in, ASQ has a non-expiring Green Belt cert.
It is not as prestigious as Black Belt, but also a much lower investment. ASQ has the name recognition though.
