Estimated tax payment question:
I converted $30k of rollover 401k into a Roth IRA and have $26k of realized ST Capital Gains this year (Roth conversion in end of Q1 and most capital gains in Q2).
My total federal withholding tax last year was approximately $12k and this year I will have 40% more in reported income on my employer W2 and anticipate higher that $12k federal withholding for my new job. Given this, what is the best way to go about making est. tax payments for the income (continued.)

Can someone point me to some material where I can read about profit sharing vs 401k. I get the concept, but I am trying to understand is 10% profit sharing vested over 5 years better than an employee 401k match of 6%?

From my understanding 10% PS is better because it’s just a standard 10% on top of whatever I contribute though it takes 5 years to vest. Does this mean if I leave before 5 years I don’t get any of it?

Anyone struggling with imposter syndrome? When I worked for a very well known Fortune500 tech company I couldn't help but feel major imposter syndrome. Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? Specially that he considers the potential layoff is purely based on the current situation (chargeability was low) and not on his performance (they said that his contribution to BD during his bench time was low)?
