Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

That sounds like an oxymoron.
No really. Not trying to hate, but it’s an industry where you are so limited by the FDA. That said, I’ve seen some great and meaningful work in healthcare coming from Area23, Concentric, The Bloc, FCB, and GSW.
They are mostly the same. Obviously there are varying levels of creativity within the creative teams, but who’s to say which actually are more creative.
You can’t really judge work by what’s in the market tbh. There were probably some awesome creative campaigns that maybe even made it up to Testing… then the decision maker, the client brand manager, who usually is under-qualified to review creative, makes the decision and usually will put their whole perspective into a quote that came out of research and die on the sword for “they prefer pink over teal”.
Creative gets filtered through 40 layers of cheesecloth on the Heath care side before it sees the light of day. Chopped down first be the clients because they don’t understand the concept, then by MLR because they don’t like the word “provide” or some arbitrary dumb FDA Interpretation, then once again by the clients who overcompensate to be safe.
So the only creative that makes it into the world usually has made it through a regulatory team with a sense of the compliance line really is, and a client not 100% afraid of their own shadow
