Hard to say but if it is “automated” it might be that your application is not scoring high enough on their ATS so the system is not moving it forward.
If you are not doing this already, a best practice is to copy and paste some of their keywords on the job description into your resume and see if that helps?
ATS systems will look for keywords so that the “highest matches” move forward and the hiring manager doesn’t have to look at 100’s of resumes.
Another best practice is to use LinkedIn to find out who the hiring manager is and reach out to them directly, that should at the least get you on their radar.
Hope that helps?
"who the hiring manager is and reach out to them directly"
risky practice but sometimes work
You should also connect with a woman on LinkedIn-Tali Shlafer. She’s an interviewing professional and her posts are extremely meaningful.

They know you’re overqualified for the job. The second something better comes along you’re gone. It took me 5 months with 20 years experience. Market is rough but don’t sell yourself short.
I guess you are right
One potential thing that most of us are not aware of is we often "sound" too boring in our cover letters. I learned that in the mid-career stage. Since then, I got much better response rates being bolder (i.e. more "confident"). Try that and hope you get more responses from potential employers. Best of luck!

Market is extremely tough and competitive right now. Are you applying to the exact same industry vertical? Or are you trying to jump from like fintech to Advertising to Software etc?
Why on earth if your an established Account Executive would you even consider an SDR role? makes no sense, unless your in staffing or some less credible / in demand industry other than Saas.
If you are applying online, your resume goes through the ATR system. If at this point you are never hearing back from someone then it could be your resume format, type of font, if your graphics or tables and columns it will kick you out. First, seek out proper format for your resume and keywords so that you get that first level applicatio approval for consideration.
