Reserve >>> preferred
Citi Double Cash...2% cash back on every purchase. Also have friends with the Chase Sapphire Preferred and they really like it
I'm not sure you understand how points work
Chase sapphire reserve.
I can guarantee 85% of the answers following my reply will be Chase Sapphire
The real answer is that it depends. Potentially the Reserve if you travel a lot. Maybe the CSP if not. Maybe a hotel / airline card if the sign up bonus is worthy
Platinum American Express
I just got the chase freedom unlimited. Just don't want the hassle of remembering the categories for bonus points
Fidelity. 2% straight cash. Beat that with your points that translate into nothingness.
American Express preferred. Had a 3%-2%-1% tiered reward system (groceries-gas-everything else). After about a year I upgraded for $75 a year and now it is double 6-4-2%. Will Make back that fee in a hurry. Plus I have a really high limit compared to my other cards
I hear Amex platinum is working on matching the chase sapphire reserve.. so I'd go chase first then Amex when it ups the sign up bonus
DUBBA CASH
In my opinion, Amex platinum will always be a better card than chase sapphire reserve, regardless of their sign up bonus
Why MA?
Look at value penguin, the site compares the rewards programs of all credit cards

EY 5 - it has a lot of the same benefits as the new chase reserved but Amex plat has access to centurion lounges and you also get unlimited spending. But the reason it beats all cards is their customer service. They get stuff done timely, overnight lost cards, always take your sides in disputes, can make reservations for you etc
Marriott Rewards. The points go a long way.
