If you buy a primary residence and then move. You can keep that residence as an investment property

like

If it’s not your first property

like

I bought this year and did my third VA loan. True that you can use your loan if under the cap limit (which is stupid low in most markets) but you’d still need that new property to be your primary residence- at least initially.

like

Pretty sure it has to be your primary place of residence, no?

smart

Yes

Nope. You have to reside in that house.

like

the rules get tweaked from time to time best to look it up officially ppl’s memories may be outdated

like

Call the VA loan folks and ask.

how long do you have to live in it?

You have to declare intent to live there for 2 years as your primary residence, but I’ve heard of people leaving after less.

I made a mistake starting SIP in a ULIP. Used to invest 7500 per month starting from November 2018. I have discontinued my premium payments since last year. That is when my fund was moved to an interim surrender state and now it earns 4% per annum interest.

After 5 years of lock-in that is November 2023, can i withdraw the entire amount at a time? (Of course after paying surrender charges)

If I see one more article on how millennials are ruining the economy or housing market by not buying enough homes or selling enough homes I'm going to scream. We were saving for 3 years before Covid and had to use a solid chunk to take care of ourselves and our families during quarantine. Now that we're ready to save again inflation and COL are at an all-time high and we're headed into a recession. And somehow this is my fault for what...not being a boomer? Bffr.

Do I need to report my crypto holdings to EY?

I used to care about and chase the opportunity to produce cool/fun/funny work. But, as of the last couple years..it’s just more about stability, keeping working relationships happy, building finances, i.e. it’s just a job. Not about pushing for the most fun creative ideas—I still do that—I just don’t care enough to fight as much if they don’t get it. Definitely still feel genuinely defeated when truly awesome concepts get glossed over by a client who has no clue what they want.

I am currently renting and my lease is not up until October 2021, however I found a good deal on a home and scheduled to close in June 2021.

My landlord will not work with me to end the lease early, so it looks like I will have to double up on rent and mortgage through the summer.

If I went on active duty orders, can I use those orders to break my lease early without penalty?
