Bain & Company Got dinged after a final round AC interview with Bain & Company as an experienced hire with 1 YOE. Currently at $75k base salary and on average work 30-40 hours a week.
Considering $15-25k increase in salary, but double the number of work hours, is it worth reapplying to Bain next year or better to wait to apply until after business school?

I would think somewhere between $125k and $140k base.
Ouch. That’s more like A3/S1 pay elsewhere. I wouldn’t expect 40% either. Probably something like $125K, but you can likely use that promo to jump to another firm for a 20-50% increase after a year or so as manager
EY makes manager in fewer years than market and the numbers cited above are not HCOL. What specific city are you looking at? How many years of experience do you have?
Good context. But ey doesn’t go by hcol or mocl. FWIW, we use 4 economic zones and most people consider ez3 as hcol. Chicago is ez2, for example. DM me and I’ll provide more detail.
