McKinsey & Company I received an offer from McKinsey & Company in 2021 and I’ll be starting later this year after graduation. Obviously because of the pandemic, inflation is slowly trending upwards. Has anyone asked for a base salary increase before even starting the job? Any advice on how to approach this?

I enjoy knowing I work for a place that encourages you to argue with clients for the greater good, operates from a place of security rather than fear (this leads to better work life balance because we aren’t overthinking/overrevving everything all the time), has the financial structure to avoid making decisions solely based on quarterly targets set by a bean counter in London, and welcomes dissent and discussion from anyone, no matter their seniority.
