Bain & Company My 13 YO is taking Career and Tech. She is dead set on diving for Michigan. What are her chances of getting hired from MBB with a degree from UM? Or would she need her MBA first? Is a Michigan degree good enough to get you into a top MBA program?

Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

Well I just learned something! We have a paralegal at my work that has CP after her name and I didn’t know what it was. So the answer is yes they do use it. :)
I wasn’t aware it mainly related to Real Estate. So, If I were to get it it would be a waste of my time because I am in Family/Civil, Criminal and dabble in immigration?

1. Doubt it. 2. Maybe when starting your career. 3. Um. No. 4. It was a decent education to have, but I never thought it got me anywhere or made any difference.
Sound like a joy to work with.
I think it depends on what industry. The majority of my career has been in-house and I can say the certification made a difference in salary and opportunities. I don't think it matters as much in a law firm, especially a larger firm or a more specialized firm where duties may be more routine.
@legal operations manager. I like doing immigration because many of the clients are so sweet and all they want to do is come to American for freedom real freedom and to be happy. Helping those clients is a pleasure.
There is a big difference in having a paralegal certificate and being certified. I have a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program and I have my CP, certified paralegal designation through NALA. I also am board-certified in civil trial law by Texas Board of Legal Specialization. I proudly display both. I work for a law firm and it definitely makes a difference. Employers can bill you out at a hirer rate because of the certifications.
