I am going into a new company with a technology stack i am just aware of and which i didnt have hands on for. Will the new company know it when they are doing BGV ? Will the company also enquire on which projwct did we work and which technology did we work.
Please dont say that its bad. I worked in support project before. someday or other we need a change. I felt like I need to take this oppurtunity to do so.

Don't upgrade, you won't get both bonuses. Get the CSP right now, then in a year get the CSR separately. Also if you do that, in a year downgrade the CSP to the Chase Freedom or Chase Sapphire to avoid having to pay multiple annual fees
If you "sleep" on those 80k points until a year from now when you open a CSR separately, you'll be able to redeem them for travel at 1.5x per point. (80k + 60k) x 1.5 = $2100 towards travel in a little over a year

I think there’s a 4 year cool down between the two and not sure if you can upgrade and get the bonus - may need to cancel and apply for the reserve
You can downgrade the preferred card and then apply for the reserve. You would get both bonuses. Would love to refer you to the reserve.
Why lose 20k points if you want to upgrade later anyway? Just get the CSR it’s worth it

I’d be losing the 20k points if I go CSR first. That’s why I was saying go CSP first to get that extra 20k then go to CSR.

You don’t loose the points, they are the same value when redeemed with each card. I would recommend pairing either with the freedom unlimited
