Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

Had one last year but was newer, less leverage. Doing it this year, would still recommend it.
DD1 hit it on the head. There's a few factors, all of which make absolutely no sense and management trips over their own words when answering them. Non target school MBAs are brought in as C's, while target school MBAs are brought in as SCs. Then the pay gap is 30-40% less just to start, signing bonus is 10-15k for Cs vs +30k for SCs and the bonus eligibility is different too.
DD1, federal. DHC, w masters. Thankfully in process of transferring to commercial.
SC to M with rating of 2 HRT, salary 140k to 150k, bonus of $28K
@KPMG mostly it's complaining about campus-hire MBA's who dwarf DHC's
Yea K1. S&O DHC will likely be in the 90-110 range, even with an MBA. Target school MBA hire is automatically at 147k because they went to a school that's on the short list
Grass is always greener..if I had taken the KPMG offer two years ago I'd likely be making more than I am now at D. Big regret. I feel like I have to stick around one more year to at least get vested into the pension program
Direct hire consultant, what S&O calls experience hire
Also C->SC this year with a 1 rating, but I'm getting a 13.3% increase to $121,000. I'm in tech.
Wow that's steep D12! Congrats!
Yeah d12 gettin paiddddd
@D13 firm could care less about Master's degrees that are not a MBA from a target school.
2nd year C at 106k, and 25 years old
@D1 - Did you join with an MBA?
Ugh I have to make it into MBB
D7, do you have MBA?
No MBA, lots of industry experience prior to joining D.
Makes sense. I'm also in HRT and I know I won't get anywhere close to where you are.
Fellow DHC here that just joined. Is there anything we can do to not get screwed over? Do those comp review calls with a PPMD help at all?
Can anyone explain why DHCs get screwed on comp? Isnt that considered "experience" hire to an extent since us is 2-3 years experience? I was under impression that experience hires make more than campus hires
