What would make you turn down a job that paid 50% more than your current role?

10 YOE, Manager(M1)-40L offer from GDS. I know this is little out of their range for M1, but they might have some urgent opening thats why I think they offered me.
My qsn is, how much % of max hike/increment I can expect in coming years? Can I expect atleast 10% per year hike if I get avg and above avg rating? Or can it be too low as well like 4-5%?

I started a new job 3 months ago. The team during interviews expressed work life balance was a value and the team typically works a regular 40 hours consistently and about 60 hours during busy season in January and September through November. Since I joined in April, we worked every single weekday and Saturday for 12 hours. They say this is not the usual, but i heard that so much in public accounting. I’m already thinking about changing jobs. Is this a bad idea?
