Currently an account manager for a $10 million construction co. I earned $33k last year + commission. I sold $2.7 million last year and my total pay was $92,000. The co recently lost several managers which resulted in me being offered a marketing coordinator position, salary range is $40,000-$50,000. I offered to take on an additional full time role in addition to account management & the first offer was 40k salary + commission. Is a $50k total in salary + commission too much to ask for?

I've tried to negotiate with deloitte but they are not ready to negotiate and asking me to join on the same CTC which was initially provided. I'm confused to select the company. I have observed that people on testing domain or frontend are getting better pay than other new tech domains like blockchain, cyber security, data sci etc(4-11yr exp) .
For less than 4 years experience new tech job gettig good pay but others getting very less.

Just venting here… At WAS for an adjustment interview based on an affirmative asylum and the officer said he’s never done and affirmative adjustment before… and questioned my client when he said that he has never been in proceedings. Officer said “I don’t agree with that, I think you *have* been in proceedings” when we submitted the affirmative asylum approval and I had to show that to him smh. Why aren’t they training these officers 😭

Is 7 weeks too early to start thinking I may have made a huge mistake in switching to my current gig?
