Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

Get a furnished apartment? Don't know if it's a thing there but here most apartments either come furnished or the leaving tenant sells the furniture to the incoming one

Speaking from experience - you can get by with a bed, a desk chair and a folding table for a few months. Air mattress if you’re really not picky.
Either that or furnished place above.
Also in the kitchen - a 3 quart instant pot and a dutch oven and you can cook almost almost anything.

Are you a dude? I mean you should be able to get by just fine with an air mattress and futon. Maybe a desk since we’re working from home.

You’re right. Clearly moving in with my fiancé has rubbed off on me.
If college is near by they may have off campus furnished apartments as well
What’s the rationale for moving to a new city during a pandemic where neither ACN nor your clients have open offices?
If you are signing a lease that isn’t in your offer city you should find out how to get out of it when you need to. Relocation was probably a precondition of your offer and if your office/client starts travel again you could be expected to show up daily in the offer city without travel compensation. It could be an employment issue for you. (It is also a reporting issue on your timesheets and on your taxes.) HR has been giving temporary location exemptions during the crisis - consider requesting one so that your ducks are in a row.
