Deloitte folks: the three fund portfolio is of interest to me: VTI, VXUS, BND. I’ve been playing around on the Vanguard site to try and update my 401k from the target fund to this three fund portfolio mix. It is not coming up with these options. Has anyone set up their 401k with this three fund portfolio strategy? If so, any advice? Thanks!

Not at Deloitte, but traditionally you don’t buy ETFs in a 401k, so I would look for the mutual fund equivalents of those 3 (e.g., VTI is VTSAX)
I’ve come up with the following equivalents: VTSAX = VTI, VTIAX = VXUS, and VBTLX = BND.
Before I make the leap from my current 401K target fund, I need to learn more. Thanks for all the feedback here. Any experiential stories with these equivalents would be interesting.
