Hi Team,
Hope you guys are doing well. I am planning to join Kyndryl on band 7b for cybersecurity domain. Want to know how is the environment there in terms of job security, wlb and hike? There are mixed reviews all over the places reg Kyndryl so posting here to get insight form you.Kyndryl Inc.
Also anything else you would like to add is good for me to decide as I have to choose between Accenture and Kyndryl (I was with Accenture and know what I will be getting and work there).
Got an offer for a sales applications manager role at Cisco and a Strategic AE role at Amazon - both are basically the same pay (130~ base, 220 OTE)
I don’t have any friends at either company so I was curious if anyone has experience and can shed some light on culture/ work life balance to help me make a decision? Thanks for the help guys!

I made a commitment a few years ago to myself and my wife that I wouldn't check my email on the weekends and it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made. Even just checking in can cause you to feel the weight of work stress and ruin your mood, put your family and personal sanity as a priority above checking in on work all the time
I like it! Great decision!
Sometimes I'll check, but it's usually only if I have reason to believe that something could be happening. And every now and then I'll think I should check, and I do, and there's usually no reason to be concerned. Early on I used to check email every day on the weekends, but I came to realize there was almost never any reason to be concerned.
I like that philosophy thanks for sharing!
I'm in the one off camp as well. I spend enough thinking about work as is without allowing it to interfere with the limited time I get with my family and to myself. 99% of emails that come in after work hours or on the weekend don't require an immediate response.
Thanks for sharing. Fully agree
I'll read them on my phone but rarely respond.
I’ve chosen not to get a work phone so I don’t even have that optionhaha
Sundays to get ahead of the week, if even for half an hour. I also owe my EOY self-eval, so lI'll on tomorrow to whip it out in no more than half an hour because Monday morning will bring The Deluge. I didn't feel like staying on late Friday to do it. I'm not Jewish, but Saturdays are my work sabbath: shopping, kids, even Netflix and Chill. On a related note, "sufficient is the evil of the day thereof." That's often a forgotten proverb in the corporate grind. I also have 16 hrs of PTO to burn before 12/31, use it or lose it. I need to do a few half/hybrid days this coming week.
Why do you chose to spend the weekends to get ahead vs just letting the deluge hit Monday and accept it
