Where to find a financial advisor that won’t try to sell you life insurance? My spouse and I just started stable jobs and want to plan for the future.

Just open up a Vanguard account and dump your money into index funds. Rinse and repeat. No financial advisor necessary.

A1 thanks for the advice and congrats on your savings! About the retiring abroad: I mentioned it because now I live in a high state income tax so I keep going back and forth on whether I should have Roth or traditional 401k/IRA.

Look for a fee-only CFP.

And one that is a fiduciary.

OP, my husband is a Financial Advisor and CFP, and I’d be happy to connect you two. He works with several of my colleagues.

And he will not peddle life insurance.

helpful

Just sent. He’s a CFP and fiduciary, and will let you know what’s best for you. He actually used to work at Vanguard and has great things to say about those funds as well (so second the advice below). Vanguard is great if you are just starting out want to do it yourself.

Where do you live? I have a great advisor in Detroit northern suburbs

Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.

I’ve been a licensed general lines (2-20) insurance agent for year and a half and have sold around 2M in premium, of which most of it is personal lines (homeowners, DP), and some commercial lines business. Even though I’m licensed to write my own business, the sole producer in the company is my boss. I currently make 35k + 15k in commissions (approximately). Is this a normal salary? Or how much should I be making? Appreciate your help

I would love to get into provider credentialing, but all employers I've looked at want at least 3 years of experience. So, I'm looking at Provider Network Coordinator roles, because I'm finding some of those roles don't need AS MUCH experience. I'm a RHIT, and have been working in healthcare for nearly 10 years.

Anyone know who might be looking for a network coordinator?

Highly Technical Market Sell-Off - Though, it has picked up over lunch and I suspect that short term turn is in near. Old floortrader told me once, never trust a market that is making new session highs or lows during lunch. That's not normal. This might not be a normal day; but we do need to rebound to get another opportunity into the short trend. So, count on it. The last draw is more suspect as it hasn't been proven to exist yet. So, we will see how we look when we trade 9855.75 on NQ.

Hello, I have a question that needs your inputs how to handle. I am working with a post-MBA Associate on a project and this person seems to do extra work beyond what the team is asking the rest of us to do. I think during our conversations with the leadership, there were a couple of points that were brought up by the MD but that was not a concrete directive that we need to do because if it is, I would know about it from the chain email since I am staffed to the project.

Long time in the making; but we finally sold off from our 50% HWB short. We had two tests at the 3400 level, getting as high as 3420 today before the sell off. Momentum and pessimism over lack of stimulus could take us to the 3107 target quickly, nearly a 10 percent decline over the next month. Stay short my friends. It's going to get bumpy.
