My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. I give massive kudos to all the parents out there juggling work and home life. But it’s starting to feel like I pulled the short stick by not having a kid. Really struggling to pick up all of the slack from all of the colleagues that do have kids and feel like the expectation is that parents should turn off while the rest are working from 7am - 2am everyday to make up for it.

How are you all feeling about required in person training & team building activities? Am I wrong to not want to participate in karaoke or cornhole or dodgeball when it has nothing to do with work? Debating between High Deductible (for HSA) & PPO options.
My spouse has some expensive medications. Annual insurance allowed amount is ~$40K for us in 2021. Since we are currently on PPO, we only paid ~$500 out of pocket.
With a high deductible plan, we would pay ~ $7K out of pocket since HD Plan only pays 90% after the deductible. Is there anyone in similar situation? Does enrolling in a high deductible plan for HSA make sense in this case? Anyone in similar situation?

What's the "coast" in coast FIRE mean?

I’m new and super behind on all of this stuff but trying to learn. I’d like to invest in an index fund and have heard there are some that, while they require an initial investment of a couple thousand, only require a $50 per month deposit thereafter.
