I do but I can already feel the sickness coming on 🤒
No
Lol first year with Accenture and didn’t know this, had to check portal to be sure.
Thanks A1 😎
I do and I'm not too happy about it. I guess it gives me an excuse to miss Black Friday - lol
No.
It’s not a corporate holiday this year for us. Using a floating holiday instead
Nope it’s part of the thanksgiving holiday
No I don't think anyone does. I believe that is also know as a "holiday"
Yeah, that's why I would think that every company would be closed because most are so why make people come in just to sit around?
Yes and Saturday too.
Yep. Sometimes we get to leave an hour early on the Wednesday before.
I have to work on thanksgiving
No, I get a day off of my choice in exchange🤣
Yep
Nope! We have the day off! Feeling extra gratitude this year!
I don't know of anyone that does except for healthcare workers
No, and I wouldn't expect anyone to be around on Wednesday either.
Most years, yes. However, that is the nature of my line of work, but I can make a half-day when necessary.
Nope
No, my company always gives Thursday and Friday off.
Have to take a vacation day.
Not sure yet. If I do have to work the day after Thanksgiving, I usually just try to make it as fun as possible. I'll bring in some leftovers from the holiday and we'll have a potluck lunch. Or maybe I'll be "sick" that day who knows?
Day after Thanksgiving used to count as a paid day off…but that is no longer the case. I work it voluntarily so my assistant can have the day off with their family since I am a bachelor. Seems like a reasonable thing to do.
No. Most patients would probably cancel anyway for family time/travel
