Hello folks, does Accenture pay out unused accrued PTO upon separation? I read that they pay up to 200 hours, but wanted to hear from anyone who has recently left or gone through this or have some info. Would appreciate any insights. Thanks!

Yes, that is correct. Up to 200 hours will be paid upon separation. When I recently left, I read through the documentation provided to leavers and it said it could take up to a month to have unused PTO hours paid out, but they actually included mine on my final paycheck.

Same for California

This varies by state. The state of IL requires employer to pay out remaining PTO in full.

They do, my contract isnt being renewed so im going through severance and confirmed with my HR rep that they do pay out leftover PTO.

Is this payout in addition to the termination package?

like

Not in Texas

Most states the ACN payout is 200 hrs and yes they do pay it if you leave.

They payout all pto hrs upto 200 as a part of full n final settlement. Nice company

Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction. Recruiter and mgr had great things to say around growth and opportunity, which doesn’t align with feedback from the bowls or Glassdoor.

Desperate for help from HR experts!

According to California Law, employers must pay unused vacation. Each year, we are given 33 days of holidays, no accrual. I was just laid off and my employer only paid half of my vacation because it’s mid year. Is this legal?

In hibob it says I had 32.5 days accrued.

Thanks for your help!

How much stock do you put on benefits? I have two offers with stark differences in benefits. Job 1: role I want, but benefit sucks (2 weeks paternity leave, 20% coinsurance). Job 2: role is okay but higher level and great benefits (16 weeks paternity, 0% coinsurance, 5 more days of vacation). Total comp is the same though. I wonder if I should just focus on role but Job 2 is a large company, so I can move around after 2-3 years I’d expect. Thoughts?

So I had 3 deals scheduled to either close end of May or mid June which were all pushed to end of June/beginning of July. Which is when I have my first vacation planned for over a year (I take 0 time off). My whole family is flying up and we’re renting a cabin near me. What do I do? I’m running one of the deals, semi running the other one and not doing much leading on the other one. Note: I was supposed to not be running any of these. Do I find a back up first or tell the partners first?

What are some easy to make, low stress holiday meals for a school holiday staff party? I was "volunteered" by our principal to set it up this year (🙄). I'm making decorated sugar cookies but kind of drawing a blank when it comes to savory dishes. Bonus points if you have any adult holiday themed games or fun drinks to suggest! It's off school property and there will be a bar (thank god), for context.
