Does anyone else feel like in office requirements encourage employees to come in sick? It’s flu season and the fear of not maintaining on site quotas could be resulting in people coming to work when they should be working from home. I wish HR would make it clear that no one will be penalized for working from home when sick and contagious.

What are thoughts in transitioning from Life Sci Consultant to a Medical Science Liaison for a large pharma? Is that a lateral move or a downgrade?

Due to the current recession, facing a lot of problems in job hunting and placements.

I also have basic python skills, SQL in intermediary level, and I have studied about ITGC audits from a peer of mine. I know the basics regarding IT Audits like Program Changes, APD, Computer Changes, etc.

I have interned at Tata medical centre and have written 3 research paper, one of them is in AI.

I accepted a new job, they said PTO was “generous.” I find out it’s 19 days a year of PTO (which includes sick days). I have two young children and we like to vacation 1-2x a year (no more than a few days away each time). Am I crazy that this is pretty limited time off? 8 of the normal holidays off during the year (working the week between Christmas and NYE). Thoughts? I dont know if lack of PTO is a good reason to back out, is it?

I’m a newly graduate from a community college. My program of study was Health Information Technician.
