Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Booz Allen is tier 1. Accenture and MBB tier 2. Deloitte is tier 5.
Tiers or tears? I think Deloitte leads in tears, not so much in tiers
When people say tier 1, they rypically mean Mckinsey, BCG, and Bain
When people say tier 2, they typically mean firms like Oliver Wyman, AT Kearney, LEK, etc.
GT has consultants. We're just on unlimited PTO.
I’m going to continue with it actually being Booz Allen. *Self High Five* 🙌
Grant Thornton 1, you’re not making a great case for yourself with the Hannity comparison 😂
@c3 LEK and OW are def ahead of/at very least on par with big 4 and acn strat groups
Deloitte is harder than Harvard...so is getting a job at Walmart. Think of it this way...Harvard has a certain reputation, so people don’t apply. Deloitte has a bunch of Dbags, so people think “they must take anyone”, so a bunch of unqualified people apply. Sounds like an HR screening failure

Deloitte: T1
E&Y : T2
Eagle Hill: T3
ZS: T4
Navigant: T5
Uh idk: T6
The Bridgespan group: T7
Slalom: T8
Got em
T1: MBB
T2: ATK, LEK, ZS, OW, big 4 strat, ACN strat, etc.
I love this question - tier 1 is the one you get paid for years of good work - sorry but if you ask this question with only 5 years in the bus you are not even a consultant yet / learn your craft - also strategy is changing and big places have more actual experience behind strategy vs expensive firms who still make slides and white papers - clients know and it is causing the mbbs to rethink market hence go for the skill area vs ranking
Is the d*** measuring over yet ?
Not until we see McBee weigh in
Dick measuring aside I just want to say that it's an honor to shitpost with all of you :')
Big 4 MC isn’t T2 imo
This thread is like *eats popcorn*
Last I checked Harvard wasn’t coming after me through LinkedIn
PwC - tier 1 in feeling!!!
A.Anderson is tier one everything else is tier 4
Deloitte 5, having previously worked at Deloitte your comment on Deloitte being more difficult to get into than Harvard is laughable .
I would surely hope so
Slalom is tier 1 and I had no idea other tiers existed until I saw all the firms below us posting on here! Hi you guys! Awe!
