I joined KGS in feb 2022, we recently got a mail regarding timeline of appraisal and bonus payout from the partner. My reporting manager hasn't yet reached out to me regarding goal setting, not sure if that happens here. Can you pls help me to know what all things we need to do from our end for the appraisal cycle and bonus payout? Since I'm new to this company KPMG KPMG India

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

If you feel you don’t have hard quantifiable skills - first you should pat yourself on the back. Most people don’t realize this until they start interviewing. Now is the time for you to work hard and choose the type of work you want to do. For example - if you want to be good at financial modeling start looking at the technical skills required there. You might have to learn a tool, concepts, or/and programming to have better exit ops. Do your research and focus your efforts on upskilling.
You think you would be a SME after 1y on the job? Best exits are after 3 to 6y
Did not see the hash tag. Sorry to hear that, it sucks. But you can apply to any entry analyst level job, and you will have 1y of experience compared to many others
Entry level bizops, data analyst, market researcher, etc
We’re you laid off from Deloitte??
Not yet, but been unstaffed for 2+ months. Starting to panic.
That’s the point as a first year analyst, and your exit opps at this point are quite limited. Why do you want to leave? Or were you laid off? I didn’t think layoffs were happening until after the end of the fiscal year
I don’t want to leave (hence why I hashtagged layoffs). I’ve been unstaffed for two months, coming in three months and things are not looking bright. Even until the end of the fiscal year, Idk if I will gain those skills for another job.
