How is work culture at Bangalore MS? I have heard rumours about layoffs and firing in MS, should we be worried about it? Which would be better to join?
I recently got a verbal offer from KPMG strategy. Is that more prestigious than like, most other firms? Like, I know MBB is done with recruiting; I feel like below MBB for name recognition is the Big 4 and other firms aren’t as reputable. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should interview and apply to other firms or just take this one (assuming a written offer ever comes along). Also, I prioritize work culture and exit opportunities over salary, but don’t want to be paid below poverty line.

Food for thought this a Friday. Quiet quitting has been trending for the last few weeks. This is problematic in two ways. A) Doesn’t actually identify the root cause for burnout (I.e abuse at work or poor company culture B) Completely dismisses a whole demographic of people unable to do the bare minimum without facing penalty. I would say this is tricky. Did you keep a daily log or any sort of documenting interactions/correspondence? What about a therapist who could share details around the distress you experienced?
Friends or close family can be a good reference if your mental health had changed in any point in that time
