Living in Van. Previously lived in Toronto. Obviously rent prices are high as is cost of living. Generally go out and spend more often living in a city. Boyfriend and I on good salary but not saving much due to the above. Before we move home to our own country, we’d love to spend a year close to Vancouver where rent is cheaper, temptation is less, to save. I have 13YOE managing cross-departmental projects and people, and I’d like to shed the general EA work of calendars/travel/expenses. But recruiters just see my most recent role is EA and that’s all they want to talk to me about. For McKinsey PEI (power round), should my stories be around 5-6 minutes containing a good level of detail, or really generic (~2 minutes) and just let the interviewers ask me questions on what they feel are most important to them? I’m really eager to present the details because I think these are elements that can show my fit with the company well, but am hearing some people say that >2 mins people get lost. But some details are important to provide background (industry specific)…
