I don’t feel as rigid about it bc I feel it balances out one way or another, but my partner feels as if he owes me if we don’t split 50-50 and I pay more. I get where he’s coming from but 50-50 just feels transactional and not intimate.

Thanks to covid I was able to achieve this salary at just 7 yoe. When I joined the industry my manager at 10+ experience was earning 10-12 lakhs.
