Crying for my RSUs….started at my company about 6 months ago and got some RSUs split over 3 years. Turns out the stock price at time of my hiring (which is what was used to calculate the number of shares over the three years) was the highest it’s ever been. I realized a slow pace at work is really bad for me. A couple years ago I was experiencing burn out from my fast paced job supporting transactions, and believed by moving to a slower job in a lower cost area, I would be sailing off to the sunset. Wrong, I spend weeks following up with other teams, often times they forgot what we discussed, so I spent 50% if the time reminding them of the topics and next steps. I spend most of my time writing memos no one will read.

Starting the interview process at a competitor and the people I will be interviewing with know my current team members just from being in the industry and I think some even used to work together. Does it go without being said that the people I am interviewing with won’t say anything to my current team members or should I be concerned about this?

Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!
