I read recently that if your employer didn’t give you a 7.1% raise you essentially took a pay cut because of inflation.

Is your company trying to keep pace with inflation? What do you do if you didn’t / don’t get a pay raise of at least 7%?

Is it a red flag if, after almost two years in a full quota carrying and selling role I want to take a lower role at another company in order to break into a field (tech sales) I want to work in? It’s better pay - closer to home and at a company with a better reputation?

hello! I’m looking to get some insight to see if I’m being paid fairly for where I’m at in my career. I’ve worked at the same company for 2.5 years. This is my first job out of college. Started as an HR Admin, basically in a call center for all HR related inquiries and now am a Sr Admin assisting with escalations, interviewing, training new hires, supporting my team, scheduling, keeping track of stats- phone calls, tickets resolved, etc. I’m making $52k per year and work remote out of MA.
