Because of how much they're growing, it probably is easier to get hired in the ME. Salary is usually quite good and tax-free. The WLB and your superiors however.......
15+ hrs a day excluding weekends…tough
Isn't all consulting 60-80 hours and terrible WLB 😂 my question is how it would hard would it be to actually get in. The WLB isn't an issue for me as Im single and would only do it for a year or two as I try to improve my Arabic although I'm fluent already. Only way I can see it getting worse is if I'm working EST or PDT hours :/
Lucky that you have good wlb now

+ McKinsey pays almost equivalent of USA in MEO, the best part is tax free income
+ However the WLB is brutal
+ More projects in public sector
+ Folks prefer Dubai as office, however work may be in Saudi
They absolutely do not pay the same
Booz Allen pays pretty good for those relocating from US. AC 1 is accurate with the terrible Wlb and preference of living in UAE.
Why would you not want be paid in ME ? If your base is Dubai, your taxes will be super low. Once you get in higher income bracket, Taxes are brutal. Is the difference in income so significant that it will offset the tax benefits ??
Bain is not big there
