Havas usually gives bonuses but it is at the discretion of your boss and not to be spoken about. Not everyone gets one. Sounds like you are everyone.
Not once in 6 yrs.
Agencies within MDC, IPG and Publicis
Once while at a small shop and once at Momentum but Grey ain't given shit out besides pink slips these days
Nope
Yes. All but one year in my 12yrs in the industry so far. Many annual + many performance, including discretionary bonuses at agencies that had policies not to distribute bonuses.
What agency is this?
2 jobs ago ( abt 6 yrs) at a non profit, I twice got a yearly bonus based on how well the company/ the Dept/i did. Never again since
Received a bonus every year in advertising. At least one per year, ranging from 3%-12% of my annual pay, both as performance bonus and spot bonuses. Ranged in titles from worker to manager to director.
Yes. Almost every year I have been in the industry. Just got a 9 month bonus that was 10% of my pay
Yup. 2 weeks ago
@Edelman1, maybe it depends on the office. I got a bonus at my mid-year review last month.
Got a holiday bonus at a small boutique agency in 2009 that was later scooped up by a holding company. I imagine bonuses are like unicorns to us worker bees.
Yes, at 3 independent shops
I received a bonus last fall. Small, but nice surprise. Heard that was the last of the bonuses.
Once.
Sure
Once at a publisher.
Received a performance based one last year. Got taxed like crazy though. Was told about a month ago I'd get one this year as well and then they just gave me a raise instead.
Can now say I've got at least one at every agency I've ever worked at
