Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. Yes, but my clients are federal. They're usually thrilled to not have us there taking up precious office space. Only problem though is being able to actually complete work since we can't remote into fed machines from firm laptops, and the overwhelming majority of us don't have client laptops.
The only project I was on that had reduced travel so far was for a Procurement function. They were very frugal and could no longer pay for their people to travel or ours. They reduced travel to only once/month as a result.
Yea, in fact my current client budget doesn't allow for us to travel every week. It works out to be approx 4 weeks onsite 1 week remote. Reason being we've already established a trust with the client but mostly they are just cheap AF
