Have a 830am flight from O'Hare back to LGA tomorrow. What time should I leave Lincoln park to get to the airport in time? (Like to minimize down time at airport but also know ORD can be bad).

If United and Precheck, I would personally get into a cab at 7am. But that is bc I don't like a lot of buffer at the airport.

like

Remember: Amatuer hour tomorrow morning as the vacationers are also heading out and ALL the airlines seem to be doling out Pre-Check to the unwashed masses like crack.

like

Security check is pretty fast this morning. It took me 5 mins to clear it.

like

Airline? Precheck?

6. Reach by 7, security cleared by 7.30-45, with coffee at the gate by 8, 5 minutes before boarding.

Taking the train? Cab? Uber?

Uber, delta, pre check

Leaving around 6am should get you to ORD by 6:30/6:40am. However if you leave later, traffic starts getting bad.

Which terminal is your flight departing from?

Assuming you're on the delta shuttle?

Wait I live in Lincoln park too, traveling to LGA too but fuckin 7'0 click flight!!

Just leaving Lincoln park. And hoping the TSA gods smile upon me

They have changed their security process. Dogs will sniff your luggage, no need to take out liquids, shoes, or belt. Just pass the metal detector like a king and you will be good to go 👍🏼

Cisco

Pros:

- fairly decent place to work (from someone who worked with the Vancouver and San Jose offices). never met a blue badger (permanent employee) who had awful things to say.

- Ashley Goodall (their SVP, Methods & Intelligence) co-authored a brilliant book on leadership and people management called “Nine Lies About Work” that makes me believe they can be an awesome place to work

Cons:

- red badgers had low morale since they’re contract workers and can be terminated at any time
