my company paid for my mom to go with me since it was a 3 week shoot and I had just come back from maternity leave.
On location I would pump and place the milk in a cooler. My mom took my baby in the day and shared the hotel room with me.
At least this way I could feed her in the evenings.
Was probably cheaper for them to do that then have me travel back every weekend.
As a matter of fact, here’s a document made just for you:
“Breastfeeding & Production Tips”

This is so thoughtful!! Thank you!
I made a mini fridge and a space to pump a requirement in the scope :)
Unfortunately, had to work pumping in during breaks.
Fortunately, had a client who was a new mama with me and approved it all.
Also asked my company to pay for one of those shipping services like Milk Stork. Got a tiny bit of money for it.
That's awesome!
I brought my daughter and breastfed her on set. Hungry baby won’t wait, and she never accepted bottles - she was a boobs only kid from day one...
Make sure a fridge is delivered to your hotel room.
Request a fridge or at least a cooler on set for storage.
You can ask for a quiet place. Maybe the production trailer. I’ve honestly pumped in video village under a blanket. No shame.
The milk shipping programs are great for longer productions. Try to get approval to expense it.
Thank you! These are great ideas
