I am getting a Analyst designation at delloite for a 1.7 years experience of it experience.
Should I try to get the consultant designation as the salary range will also open a bit as they r giving me 9.5. Should I just wait a few more months to get 2 years experience and apply the consultant position.

I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

Option 2. Going back to consulting in this recession is throwing at least 2-3 years away.
Why do you say that?

Go to FAGMAN and don’t look back

Option 2. It will be easier to go back to Option 1 if at some point you‘re interested again.
The mix of consulting and industry experience is quite a most wanted on the market.
Option 2. You left big 4 because likely either you knew consulting wasn't for you long term, or you preferred to work in tech. Going back to consulting would be ok for 2 years, but you'd probably be looking for the door again soon enough. Plus, consulting is probably more hours and more risky than GAFAM tech, without higher pay to offset these negatives.
However, if you think that 2 years in consulting would get you to the next level in tech, then it might be worthwhile.
Option 2. Option 1 is for those that cannot make it for Option 2, within the current market.
2. No question. You can always go back to consulting
Initial instinct was option 1 for better immediate fit, but option 2 seems a better brand for long term CV

Option 2 seems to be the way to go. Have you been in tech the whole time? What's your skillset?

Faangm any day. H0w wide you clear it op. I need tips. And is director at parthenon?
What is the package and location for both options
Those GAFAM levels are Manager levels, not director levels. You would need to promote 1/2 more levels to become a director which can take awhile.
FWIW, I was a Sr Mgr, 10 YOE, and moved directly into a L66 role at MSFT.
