Have you refinanced your student loans lately and which company helped you do it?

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. Suggestions?

Question, if you pay off your house isn’t a 100k salary more than enough to sustain a good lifestyle? My goal has always been to payoff my mortgage then find a really easy analyst role to sustain my expenses. Assuming I’m a director/VP by the time my mortgage is paid off I’d probably be able to do an analyst 40hr week in like 10hrs. Esp at some of these low expectation companies. I recently received an offer from a ID private firm (1900 billable hours) in the area for about 40k more than my currently salary. I was going to accept, but now I’m having second thoughts about leaving a secure gov job with good benefits. Really not sure what to do.

Can I export a list with all emails I sent for the month? I would like to use it to compare to my billed time to make sure I don’t miss anything. Usually I go through my sent inbox but it has so much extra info so it’s not a quick scan. Plus outlook does weird things sometimes like combines conversations so I only see most recent sent item in that convo. Alternatively, do you have a good way confirming you caught all of your email time?
