Strategic sourcing is super repetitive I’d try to build skills in a different facet of supply chain.
But don’t get me wrong D1, strategic sourcing is a valuable skill to have. Working in strategic sourcing made me a great analyst. Youll build skills in both analytics and soft skills with all the negotiation prep and bidder management that comes with it. But it’s also something people get pigeon holed in and once you’ve done a few strategic sourcing initiatives, you’ve done em all. Much more interesting things out there if pursuing a career in supply chain IMO.
