Tough but fair from Goldman.
I got yelled at once, and I yelled back that I’m not their punching bag for something they screwed up. Everyone in the area heard the exchange- it was highly unprofessional on both our parts. Then I grabbed my bag and left for the rest of the day. Came back the next day like nothing happened and never got yelled at again. If I’d screwed up then I would have taken the heat but it’s not my responsibility to be sure they’ve read their emails from their boss.

Crying on the desk is a rite of passage for juniors in any high-caliber IB group—the stress level just gets so high. Best to keep it to the bathroom / different floor / outside walk for professionalism purposes though (for both men and women)
Yell back. Respect over everything else. Give respect take respect. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Trust me, girls shouldn’t cry either. It’s a professional environment. I’m a girl

Ashamed to say I did cry once too. I was having surgery the next week, was incredibly hormonal and was getting yelled at. I just snapped.
Holding back tears is a top tier skill one masters by practice and practice only
find other outlets. practice mindfulness, step out, take a deep breath, gather yourself, get a stress toy, etc
Take the high road.
Firstly, MD should not yell at you, that is a bad culture. It’s OK yo cry and walk out.
Cry when no one is around
Poker face.
Also, join a fight club.
Channel that energy into finding exit opps and gtfo as soon as you can
