Hi all
I have got an offer letter from EY GDS.
I have interviewed for the position of senior Hadoop developer with 4.9 years of experience.

However,in the offer letter i could see that the designation is mentioned as Assistant manager with rank 42 and service line is consulting.

Is the designation correct or is it mismatched ?
Shouldn't the designation be something like senior developer or something technical.

Anyone know about it please let me know how EY usually assigns designations

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. I feel like when I see a top-tier school on a profile and they didn’t get a degree there it feels like they’re being misleading somehow. Am I missing the value of these programs?
