Hi Cyber 🐠, I’m interviewing this week for a Forensics Investigations industry role. First time I’ve interviews for industry. I’ve already interviewed with the Hiring Managers, but now am expected to have 2 separate panel interviews - one with 3 members of Legal, and then 3 Threat Intel. They should be behavioral, but any tips for preparing for interviews involving people not on your direct team? I found this a bit odd.

Hi All. I have a good job offer but I'm wondering whether I should negotiate comp. I made it clear from the beginning what my target for base comp was which is ~$10K over the top of the posted salary range for the job. I also said that I was comfortable proceeding with the interview process despite the top of that range being lower (somewhat weakening my position for later I suppose). The offer is at the very top of the range. Bonus is 5% less than what I get in my current job. Negotiate?

Should I list my side hustle on my resume or leave it off?

Cons: I’m worried people might think it’s too much of a time commitment.

Pros: it’s reasonably impressive. I bootstrapped a company into existence on my free time and it has an impressive list of clients now. Profitable.

I’m technically the majority share holder, not an employee of the side hustle (it’s legally a company now). And I have employees that manage the daily activities.

Got a verbal offer from Grant Thornton. The recruiter told me that they would get the paperwork over by Thursday or Friday.
