Hi Fishes,

I never invested in the share market in India and have zero experience in share trading... To generate some passive income I want to start share trading inter/intraday.
Please suggest which dmat account you are using and will be best with least or no brokerage and easy to use...

Kotak cherry, mstock or Groww are good with least annual, brokarage fees.

If you are a newbie, I'd suggest you to not deploy big capital. Start small and see how it works for atleast 1 yr. People think it is easy to earn in markets and lose big initially.
Focus more on learning a lot abt markets. Also dont depend on others tips instead learn abt theor strategies if they share.

Also, think abt long term wealth growth instead of trading and passive income from markets. All the best!!

If you are fresh to stock markets, and want to have equity exposure in your portfolio, best way to do that is through mutual funds SIPs. That’s what I am doing and I am extremely satisfied with the returns which are around 12-15% p.a. I am using services of a registered mutual fund advisor. Pls let me know if you need their details.

Hi, my name is Shefali Garg and I am a registered Mutual fund advisor. Pls drop a message on 9414838166 if you need assistance with regards to personal financial planning, retirement planning, wealth creation, mutual fund investment, SIPs etc..

I‘m moving to Australia with my partner and we don’t have a bank account and credit cards yet. We basically need the bank account only for everyday finance stuff (local payments, debit card, etc) and we‘re looking for some credit cards with good international fees and ideally a reward program to collect some points for traveling.

My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
Other options I'm considering are SBI life, HDFC life which offices are available in my locality.

I made a mistake starting SIP in a ULIP. Used to invest 7500 per month starting from November 2018. I have discontinued my premium payments since last year. That is when my fund was moved to an interim surrender state and now it earns 4% per annum interest.

After 5 years of lock-in that is November 2023, can i withdraw the entire amount at a time? (Of course after paying surrender charges)
